the planners you’d actually invite to the party.

about après

Après began in Amy and her husband’s ski house in Vermont. For ten years, every day on the mountain ended the same way: friends gathered around the table, something warm on the stove, good music on the speakers, a drink in every hand, and nobody in a hurry to leave. We’d all spent the day tearing up the icy slopes, and après was the celebration that brought us back together to talk, to eat, to drink, and to connect.

That’s our favorite part of a wedding, too. Your people have been there through your whole love story, every step of the way to this moment. The wedding is the après: the night to eat, drink, celebrate, and bring everyone you love into one room.

That’s the feeling we bring to every wedding: the warmth of a good host, and the evening nobody wants to end.

about amy

Colorado born and raised. Detoured to New England for a decade to teach some kids, build a couple of houses in matching Carhartt overalls with my husband, and consume as much maple syrup as possible. Former elementary school teacher and après-ski host, turned full-time wedding planner.

  • Avid skier with questionable talent. Give me snow or water, I’m strapping in and hoping for the best.
  • Empathy, energy, and RBF are unmatched.
  • Always have three drinks on my desk: one for hydration, one for caffeine, and one for fun. Never finish any of them.
  • Raising two toddlers to be preschool’s biggest Noah Kahan and Bad Bunny fans.

Based in Colorado. Ready to go wherever you are.

the team

meet the hosts who make it happen.

Alyssa Bisel

Month of Coordinator

Alyssa spent years as a speech-language pathologist, so she knows how to read a room, meet people where they are, and make everyone feel heard. On your wedding day, that means your grandma feels like the most special person in the room. She’ll be intentional about every detail you’ve held close through planning, and you’ll find her on the dance floor the second a Pitbull song comes on.

Kristin Smith

Month of Coordinator

Spreadsheet, organization, and baking extraordinaire. Kristin is one of the best wedding bakers in Colorado, with a background in corporate marketing and years of catering experience behind her. She’s a jack of all trades, especially in the wedding world, and could run your event with her eyes closed while running backwards. Always the most hydrated and best prepared person in any room.

Lauren Caldwell

Team Member

The muscle of the team. If the prep window means moving a lot, moving fast, or wrangling horses, Lauren is already on it. All brute force and the best dance moves on the floor.

Morgan Hall

Team Member

The definition of efficiency. Morgan works hard, sticks to the timeline, and brings years of catering experience to every event. She’s the master of keeping a room flowing, so everyone gets what they need right when they need it. She can also drop it low when the moment calls for it.
